Title: Health psychology

  • Author: Edward P. Sarafino
  • Publisher: John Wiley and sons, inc.
  • Year: 1990-1998
  • ISBN: 0-471-16917-X
  • Description: This book has nothing to do with vision. Did you know that the 7 golden life style rules for a healthy existence are: 1) No smoking 2) No alcohol or very little 3) Early to bed 4) Eat breakfast every day 5) No snacking between meals 6) Regular vigorous bodily exercise 7) Not being fat ? Yes you did. But if you need it repeated over and over again, read this book (once will suffice). Why do I include it here, if I'm so critical about it? It does contain a lot more than this lifestyle stuff, there are chapters on dealing with being ill, going to hospital, how children deal with being sick, having an operation, going to hospital or to a doctor, which may be helpful for those of you who have a child with a squint who is having strabismus surgery, or will have to wear a patch or glasses.
